Who We Are
HRR (Hampton Roads Roofing), LLC was built on a lifelong passion for homes, construction, and quality craftsmanship.
Owner, Damian Costa, grew up in a family involved in home renovations and house flipping, gaining hands-on experience from an early age and developing an appreciation for what it takes to build and maintain a home the right way. While his career path initially led him into engineering, his passion for construction never faded.
After earning his engineering degree, he relocated to Virginia and worked as an engineer at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Although engineering provided valuable technical knowledge and problem-solving experience, the desire to work directly in the construction industry eventually led him to pursue entrepreneurship.
Moving back to his home state, he went on to establish his own construction company focused on residential renovations and later continued his career in Florida, becoming a licensed residential contractor and roofing contractor. These experiences provided extensive knowledge of home construction, roofing systems, project management, and customer service.
Today, settling back down in coastal Virginia, HRR brings together decades of combined experience in construction, engineering, home renovations, real estate, and roofing. By focusing exclusively on roofing, we are able to provide homeowners with specialized expertise while understanding how every roofing decision impacts the home as a whole.
